Adria Media Group from Belgrade founded the news portal espresso.rs in 2015, stating that its target audience is young people up to 35 years old. In addition to news, articles on sports, entertainment and the foreign affairs are published on the portal. Espresso's Instagram account says that "the portal is intended for everyone who is bored with standard news and typical media." Espresso has 7,320 followers on Instagram and 66,000 on Facebook.
Adria Media Group, the publisher of Espresso, received from 2019 to 2022 around 32.5 million dinars (approximately 297,220 USD) for 63 projects in calls for the co-financing of media content from state institutions and local self-government bodies. Most of the projects (eight) were received from the City of Belgrade, which awarded Adria Media Group a total of around 10 million dinars (91,450 USD).
In the period from the beginning of April to the end of June 2020, the Press Council analysed online media and determined that the Espresso portal violated the code of ethics of Serbian journalists 495 times.

the son of Radisav Rodić, the founder of the Kurir tabloid. He has been present on the media scene since 2009 when he took over the management of the daily newspaper Kurir after his father's arrest.
In 2014, Aleksandar Rodić expanded his business activities by purchasing the Adria Media Group, the largest media business group in the Balkans, which at the time published, among others, the magazines Elle, National Geographic, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan and Men’s Health.
Since its establishment, Kurir has changed its editorial policy several times, but it has mostly remained the voice of the ruling party. Under the leadership of Aleksandar Rodić, the editorial policy favoured the Democrats (then the ruling party). After the Democratic Party lost the 2012 elections, Kurir changed its editorial policy – it began attacking former Democratic Party officials and reporting in favour of the Serbian Progressive Party.
Such a policy of this paper continues to this day, with a short break in 2015. That year, Kurir tried to take over the management of the daily newspaper Politika, which led to a conflict with the authorities and the Serbian Progressive Party.
In November 2015, Rodić was at the centre of the attention of the wider public after he published an author's text "Serbia, sorry" on the front page of the Kurir, in which he apologized to the citizens of Serbia because, as stated in the article, he was forced to join Aleksandar Vučić's propaganda team. After the publication of the article, a long-lasting public debate began between Rodić, Željko Mitrović, the owner of Pink TV, and Dragan J. Vučićević, the owner and editor of the Informer tabloid. The public conflict lasted several months, and then the Kurir returned to its usual editorial policy.
In June 2017, Kurir published an article entitled "Vučić finances private army through EPS". The newspaper announced that Aleksandar Vučić, the former prime minister and current president of the country, was involved in the financing of football fan groups through the companies "Elektroprivreda Srbije" and "Aerodrom Nikola Tesla Beograd" in exchange for services provided by those groups. This started a new series of public conflicts between Rodić, Vučićević and Mitrović. Rodić then announced his entry into politics, stating that he had enough courage to oppose Vučić's dictatorship and the censorship of the Serbian media.
After an open conflict with the President of Serbia, Adria Media Group experienced serious financial problems. This company's accounts were blocked for months and normal operations were prevented. For a long time, Rodić was looking for a new business partner who would provide stability to the company. Negotiations regarding the sale of the company lasted almost two years.
At the end of 2018, the company Mondo Inc officially became the owner of 100 percent of Adria Media Group (AMG), and the decision to change ownership was announced on January 4, 2019, on the website of the Agency for Business Registers (APR).
