Hit FM

Hit FM is a station with a national frequency and is therefore legally obliged to produce informative programmes, although the content is dominated by music. Five minutes before the start of each hour is reserved for short news bulletins. Since 2015, Hit FM has been broadcasting on a national frequency that previously belonged to the radio stations Hit Music FM and Roadstar. Radio Hit FM is the successor of Hit Music FM, which until 2014 was owned by the Croatian company Dijagram Nekretnine (49%) and Milan Pejović (51%). After taking ownership, Maksim Media Plus declared Hit Music FM bankrupt and founded Hit FM, which is still broadcasting on the same frequency. Branivoje Lazović, the owner and founder of Roadstar Radio, was awarded the national frequency in the 2006 allocation. At that time, the radio station was part of the Euroluks Petrol d.o.o. company, which also owns the ELP petrol station with the Roadstar restaurant and bar. In 2009, Lazović was arrested on suspicion of unjustified enrichment and illegally exchanging part of the land on the outskirts of Belgrade for office space in the centre of the capital, which belonged to the City of Belgrade. A few days earlier, in February 2009, a delegation of several Serbian bankers visited the Prime Minister to express their concern about Lazović's €50 million debt. Lazović had failed to repay the loans taken out for Eurolux Petrol. Since then, Lazović has disappeared from view, but the radio station remains on air as Hit FM and is now one of the 10 most listened to radio stations in Serbia. Since 2021, the majority owner of Hit FM is Saša Blagojević, owner of Studio B and the tabloid Alo. The minority owner of Hit FM is the Krdžić couple.

Ružica Krdžić

became known to the public during the privatisation of Studio B television in 2015, when the company Maksim Media, then co-owned by Ružica and Miloš Krdžić, bought the city television for 530,000 euros. After the privatisation, the media owned by the companies of the Krdžić family received more significant funds in the competitions for media co-financing during 2015 and 2016, and Studio B television drastically changed the programme scheme. With this in mind, members of the professional public connect the family with the ruling Serbian Progressive Party. Krdžićs sold Studio B in 2018 to the owner of the tabloid Alo Saša Blagojević. Blagojević and the couple Ružica and Miloš Krdžić are co-owners of several radio stations. In addition to HIT, they also have stakes in radio stations Lola, TDI, Jat and Karolina. As co-owners of Maksim Media Plus, in which Blagojević owns the majority, they also own several marketing companies, as well as cable communications companies. The Krdžićs also entered the real estate construction business, so they began construction on Dedinje, an elite Belgrade settlement, without a building permit, for which they applied several times. This building was later legalised.
