Politika AD
Now state owned company Politika AD was founded in 1904 by journalist Vladislav Ribnikar. In 1997 it became a joint stock company. Politika AD was the publisher of Politika before WAZ bought part of it. Today, they are publishing a couple of specialized magazines. The Ministry of Economy submitted an initiative for privatizing Politika AD in 2013. In November 2016, the Commercial Court in Belgrade appointed a bankruptcy administrator for this company. Ilustrovana politika, one of the company's media outlet, was in the spotlight last year because of their articles in which they attacked independent media but also journalists who were part of Commission for Investigating Murders of Journalists. These attacks were run by journalists from Milosevic era and after one of them, Vucic's media adviser, Suzana Vasiljevic resigned as a member of Supervisory board in Politika.
